The Pop art studio is Manly’s dedicated art education studio for children.

Owner and creative director Yeehwan Yeoh (Yee) graduated with an MA (Hons) in Curatorship and Modern Art in 2005 and has been in the arts industry for over 15 years. She has a lifelong commitment to artmaking – returning to university in 2018 to further her studies in ceramics and glass. She has been exhibited in various group exhibitions and was a finalist for the Willoughby Sculpture Prize in 2013.

Yee envisions The Pop art studio as a space where children can develop art techniques used by contemporary artists and learn to express and materialise ideas, experiment with concepts, indulge in imagination and undertake creative play both independently and collaboratively. And of course, have some messy fun in the process!

Yee is a mother of two children (Zola at Mackellar Girls High School and Jules at Manly Village Public School) and a dog named Boots.
